The event, which was kept very informal, was initiated with a short speech from the Mayor, and included advice and information being given by the Council’s Physical Development Officers. Now is your turn to give it a go!
Morag Stern said, “I am delighted Grange Ward residents have such a wonderful, totally free, facility on our doorstep. This is a very positive step in encouraging fitness for our residents.”

The walk-in Medical Centre in Oadby town centre recently celebrated a milestone after treating over 10,000 patients since opening its doors in March 2010. Your local Liberal Democrats campaigned for the centre and would now like to see the centre host a minor injuries clinic to relive some of the pressure on emergency services offered in Leicester.
A survey of over 300 patients using the Walk-in Centre shows that overall satisfaction with the service exceeds 97%. There are 12,000 patients registered at the surgery taking advantage of the 8-to-8 service.
