The Liberal Democrat controlled Oadby and Wigston Borough Council has frozen its Council Tax for 2011-12
That means that the band D charge, on which all other bands are based, will remain at £202.60. Note that this is the element of the Council Tax that goes to the Borough Council. Other elements are set by Leicestershire County Council, the Police and the Fire Authority.
Liberal Democrat councilors feel it is important to help local people at this difficult time, so we have held the Council Tax charge at 2010-11 rates.
